Visual Innovation: Computer Generated Imagery

Based on the research online, sources from ScienceDaily LLC,computer-generated imagery (CGI) is the application of the field of computer graphic to special effect. In more specifically saying, we called it as 3D computer graphics, which usually used in films, television programs and commercials, and in printed media.

CGI is used for visual effects because the quality is often higher and effect are more controllable that others more physically based processes, such as constructing miniatures for effects shots or hiring extras for crowd scenes, and because it allows the creation of images that would not be feasible using any others technology.

With such technology, CGI software and the increased computer speed has allowed individuals artist and small companies to produce professional grade films, games, and fine art. Such technology enable the new generation to enjoy better visual effect, example of CGI production would be Avatar, Final Fantasy. Enjoy the video sharing, one of my favorite song - eyes on me.
